Jain Dental Care Provides Teeth Whitening in Guelph and Surrounding Areas

Whether it’s one tooth or all 32, our teeth whitening services will keep your smile bright and shining.

Teeth bleaching products, which contain peroxides, actually change your natural tooth color anywhere from five to twelve shades brighter and last up to one year before a touch up is needed.

Chair-side bleaching, involves applying either a protective gel to your gums or a rubber shield to protect the soft tissues in the mouth. A bleaching agent is then applied to the teeth, and a special light is used to enhance the chemical action

If you’re interested in brightening your smile, have your teeth evaluated by us. Not everyone is a good candidate for bleaching. In some cases of serious discoloration and pitted teeth, for example, veneers may be more appropriate.

Moreover, crowns, bridges, and fillings do not bleach, so it may be necessary to replace the dental work to make it blend with the new colour of your bleached teeth.

Veneers

In just one to three dental visits, one of two different types of veneers can reverse years of stains caused by foods, caffeine, and tobacco use. These special thin laminates can also be used to correct discolored, worn-down, cracked, gapped, and chipped teeth

Porcelain

Most closely resembles the look and feel of natural teeth. Only a small amount of the tooth structure, if any, is removed during the procedure.
They are thin but durable and resist stains. If properly taken care of, they can last 10-15 years.

Composite

Perfect for teeth with small amounts of damage, discoloration, or misalignment. A significant amount of tooth structure is removed to make the desired shape of the tooth to prevent a bulky look and feel.
A bonding agent is applied, composite resin added, light cured, and then finished and polished. All of this is accomplished in just one visit.
